illy Café Malaysia Welcomes Raya with New Seasonal Special Made for Slowing Down
Raya has always been about the little things — unhurried conversations, familiar flavours, and the comfort of simply being together. This year, illy Café Malaysia leans into that spirit with a new Seasonal Specials menu, created to bring a softer, more thoughtful rhythm to the festive season.
Available from 3rd March to 12th April 2026, the limited-time menu introduces a small but considered selection of desserts and drinks that feel both comforting and a little unexpected — the kind you linger over, rather than rush through.
At the centre of it all is the Matcha Banana Pudding Cake. It’s one of those desserts that doesn’t try too hard, but quietly delivers. The base has a light crunch from oats, giving way to a smooth banana pudding layer that feels nostalgic in the best way. On top, a matcha cheesecake adds a gentle bitterness that keeps everything balanced. It’s rich, but not overwhelming — something you can share, or keep to yourself depending on the kind of day you’re having.
The drinks follow a similar idea — familiar, but with just enough character to make you pause. The Matcha Latte Macchiato comes layered, almost too pretty to stir at first, while the Matcha Latte is more straightforward — creamy, calm, and easy to settle into. Both sit comfortably alongside illy’s coffee, offering something for those who might want a break from espresso, without stepping too far away from the café experience.
And of course, coffee remains at the heart of everything illy does. There’s a quiet confidence in that — no need to overstate it. For more than 90 years, illy has focused on doing one thing well: sourcing and blending some of the finest Arabica beans in the world. Only about Pure Arabica beans make the cut, which explains the consistency people come back for. It’s not about chasing trends, but about getting the details right, cup after cup.
That same thinking extends beyond the café space. Over time, illy Café Malaysia has also grown into providing coffee for offices and events — not in a loud, corporate way, but as something that simply makes daily routines a bit better. A good cup of coffee, after all, can shift the tone of a whole day.
The Seasonal Specials menu will be available at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Hartamas Shopping Centre, and Nu Sentral — places where people naturally cross paths, take breaks, and spend time in between plans. Whether it’s a quick break between errands or a longer catch-up with friends, the setting feels just right for what this menu is meant to be.
Prices for the Seasonal Specials are inclusive of 6% SST for takeaway, with a 10% service charge applied for dine-in.
There’s nothing overly complicated about this Raya offering — and that’s precisely the point. It’s about giving people a reason to sit down, take a breath, and enjoy something thoughtfully made.
Because sometimes, that’s all a good café moment needs to be.
