Warranty Policy for illy Coffee Machines in Malaysia

Effective Date: 1st May 2020

This Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all Illy coffee machines (“Machine”) purchased from Cedro Sdn Bhd (“Cedro”) within Malaysia. The warranty coverage provided by Cedro is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”).

1. Warranty Coverage
Cedro warrants that the Machine sold shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Period. The warranty covers repairs and replacements of faulty components and labour costs necessary to rectify any defects that occur under normal usage conditions.


2. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damages or defects arising from:
– Misuse, abuse, or improper handling of the Machine.
– Use of the Machine for commercial purposes.
– Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
– Failure to follow the operating and maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer.
– Accidental damages, acts of nature, or any other external causes beyond the control of Cedro.


3. Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must notify Cedro within the Warranty Period. The purchaser should provide the following information:
– Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
– Model and serial number of the Machine.
– Detailed description of the defect or issue.

Cedro will review the warranty claim and, at their discretion, may request the purchaser to return the defective Machine to an authorized service centre for inspection and repair.


4. Warranty Resolution
If the defect is covered under this warranty, Cedro will, at their discretion:
– Repair the Machine using new or refurbished parts.
– Replace the Machine with a new or refurbished unit of equal or similar functionality.
– Refund the original purchase price of the Machine.


5. Limitations and Disclaimers
This warranty is non-transferable and only applicable to the original purchaser.

Cedro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Machine, including but not limited to loss of profits or revenue.

This warranty is only applicable to Machine sold by Cedro, the authorised distributor for illycaffè S.p.A., machines purchased from other resellers or distributors are not covered by this warranty.



Please retain your original proof of purchase, as it will be required when making a warranty claim.
