Recipe for Espresso Freddo Greco
A chilled espresso classic, smooth and refreshing.
Preparation that you’ll need:
1 illy Iperespresso capsule (Intenso recommended)
Ice cubes
Sugar syrup (optional)
Steps to brew
Step 1: Brew a fresh shot of espresso (about 30ml) with the Y3.3 Iperespresso Machine.
Step 2: Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
Step 3: Pour the hot espresso over the ice.
Step 4: Add sugar syrup to taste, if desired.
Step 5: Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until chilled and frothy.
Step 6: Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Recipe for Leggero Fondente
A light indulgence blending espresso with chocolate and illy’s milk frother machine.
Preparation that you’ll need:
1 illy Iperespresso capsule (Classico or Lungo recommended)
10g dark chocolate
50ml milk
Ice cubes
illy Milk Frother (white)
Steps to brew
Step 1: Melt the dark chocolate with a splash of milk until smooth.
Step 2: Brew a lungo (about 60ml) with the Y3.3 Iperespresso Machine.
Step 3: Add ice cubes into a tall glass.
Step 4: Pour in the melted chocolate mixture.
Step 5: Add the freshly brewed lungo over the ice.
Step 6: Use the illy Milk Frother (white) to froth the milk until silky.
Step 7: Top the drink with milk froth for a smooth, creamy finish.
